PC Service & Repair

We service all desktop, portable and server products right here in our shop for warranty and non-warranty hardware problems, operating system issues, and many application software program problems. We also are expert at data recovery where the hard drive has not yet failed mechanically.

While we generally prefer to repair hardware problems in our shop, we do offer onsite service when desired for a small additional charge, plus travel. Individualized instruction is also available either in our shop or at your site at our normal repair rates, as is pre-sales consultation.

Mac Service & Repair

The Computer Place has been an Authorized Apple Service Provider since it's inception in 1982. We service all Apple desktop, portable and server products right here in our shop for warranty and non-warranty hardware problems, operating system issues, and many application software program problems. We also are expert at data recovery where the hard drive has not yet failed mechanically.

Greg Naive, our current Apple Certified Technician, has been with The Computer Place since 1998, and has consistently received outstanding ratings from our customers on Customer Satisfaction Surveys sent out by Apple. Apple requires all Certified Technicians to take annual Recertification Exams, and Greg has always received marks in the 90th percentile or above. Greg is also trained in network configuration and implementation, and has extensive experience in both Apple and mixed Apple-Windows network environments.

We do not currently support iPod or iPad products for hardware problems which are best serviced directly through Apple, although in some cases we may be able to facilitate repairs with Apple for a small fee. We do offer fee-based consulting on the use of these products on an individual level, as well as some data recovery services.
